1. The service

JobGenius is a hosted, invite-only, free beta of the open-source Iolaus job-search application. It helps you build a candidate profile, find and triage job openings, and prepare application materials.

2. Beta status

The beta is provided free, by invitation, "as is", and may change, be limited or be withdrawn. Features and limits may change without notice. [Owner to confirm availability and support commitments.]

3. Accounts and invitations

You sign in through our identity provider using OpenID Connect. Invitations are personal and not transferable. You are responsible for activity under your account. [Owner to confirm eligibility, minimum age and invite revocation terms.]

4. Your content and your responsibility

You keep ownership of your resumes, notes and other content. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and process it to run the service for you. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit and for every application you approve.

5. Human approval

The service never submits an application to an employer without your explicit approval. Material generated by AI may contain errors; review it before you approve anything.

6. AI usage and limits

We pay for AI model usage during the beta. Each user has a usage cap, which may change. Reaching a cap may pause AI features until it resets. [Owner to confirm cap description.]

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to access other users' data, overload the service, or use it to submit false or misleading applications. [Owner and counsel to complete.]

8. Third-party sites

Job listings and employer systems are operated by third parties. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or decisions. We do not guarantee any interview or job offer.

9. Export and deletion

You can export your data and delete your account and data, as described in the Privacy Policy.

The Iolaus software is licensed under the MIT license. These terms govern the hosted service only, not your use of the source code.
